Hello. It turns out, I must have picked up an older version of web fonts loader. The current one in the wordpress directory does allow different controls on different sizes of body and headings.

However, it wipes out all bold, underlining and italics.

In addition, where there’s a “Read more…” at the end of the excerpts, it shows a broken character where the ellipsis should be.

This should be up to the font, some fonts from the Google directory don’t support all the characters as well as bold and italics you must check first on their site.

The PRO version give you a bit more guidance if you add your Google developer API key you could see which fonts offer Bolds or Italics.

Yes, Montserrat does have regular, italics, bold, etc.? I knew that from a theme I tested out which has Montserrat as an option with all available modes of text decoration.? I didn’t keep that theme, but the font looks good in other themes; so I installed your web font loader in order to have it elsewhere.

As mentioned in my original support post, however, your web fonts loader eliminates the text decoration.? Here’s Montserrat at google fonts with all the variations:

What’s the point of the “Pro” version? I don’t need “guidance”, I need Montserrat as provided by google.
