    Does a particular hook need to be executed in the functions file for this feature to work?

    <link rel=”preconnect” href=”https://fonts.gstatic.com/&#8221; crossorigin> does not load in our header when Web Fonts Optimization is enabled.

    Hey there @warrensamu,

    There is no need for an additional hook. You just have to enable the optimization. The preconnect link for the Google fonts library will be set if any Google fonts are used. In your case, you are not loading any fonts from google on your staging site.

    You can test it by using a google font and enabling the optimization. However, if you have any issues feel free to reach back to us.
