web garbled with Chinese words

  • Few days ago,I registered a new account for google adsense.I received a letter from google told me that I need a verification of website ownership.
    I need to create a file named “adsense.txt” in website homefolder,and type some words(in chinese) into this file.So they can see these words by type “www.mywebsite.com/adsense.txt” in web browser.The problem is these chinese words display messy code in web-browser.

    Web host uses CentOS5.2,LANG=”POSIX”.
    I tried this in another website in other web host,also doesn’t work.(DEBIAN LANG=”en_US.UTF-8″).So I think this should be relative to wordpress configurations.
