Web host

  • I run a blog and have a host that set up the page and took care of the heavy lifting. Now that the page is up and working for the past nine months he is too busy to cater to my every question. I would like to take control of my site and add plug-ins. All the passwords are assigned to him and I can’t make any changes. He is paid in full and I have paid for a year of hosting. I have tried to work this out with him as I am not a programer in any sense but I have ideas and really have NO input on my site. My host is fifteen hundred miles away.

  • This is between you and your host. If he won’t give you FTP access (I assume that’s what you mean by him having the passwords), then there’s nothing you can do, and nothing anybody here can do to help you.

    You could try blogging about what an awful host he is, if you want. ??
