Web images won’t load on mobile site while showing in browser

    Hi guys,

    I’ve spent the last day trying to make my web and mobile page views cohesive with much trouble and little progress. The theme design has a large picture on the side that is not showing up for the mobile view. I believe this may have been referred to as a hero section or something of the sort, but I could be wrong. This is a serious issue as I need this photo to show in all views. This is a new site build and any advice is appreciated.

    Thank you for using Neve and for reaching out to us!

    It looks like the issue you’re experiencing is due to the “Hide this section on Mobile devices?” option. This setting can hide sections on certain devices based on your selection.

    To fix this, please click on the section with the image and go to the Responsive tab in the right panel. Make sure that the option to hide the section on mobile devices is disabled if you want it to be visible on all mobile devices, like this https://imgur.com/a/oSqXa9z.

    Hi Mara,

    Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, the “Hide this section on mobile” isn’t activated. I toggled it on and off again after reading your response, and the image is still not showing on mobile.

    Can you please share more details about what is the missing image on mobile?

    Hi Rodica,

    I actually solved the issue yesterday after thinking a bit more about Mara’s advice. I went into the home page and added a duplicate photo above the section I was having issues with on mobile. I set that image to not show up on the tablet or desktop views so you don’t see the same photo twice. It doesn’t explain why the hero section image wont load on mobile, but I’m happy with the outcome. I appreciate y’all helping out.

    We are glad that you’ve found a solution that works for you!

    Regarding the “Hide this section on Mobile devices?” option being unchecked while still applying to the image, could indicate a caching issue. You can follow this article to clear all the cache on your end, which should resolve the issue.

    Please make sure the option remains unchecked, then follow the steps in the article to clear your cache.
