“Web Librarian WP Plugin” has been removed from repository

    Hello,

    First of all, I want to thank you for providing us this plugin. You’ve done us all a great service, since there’s nothing else even close to it out there!

    Unfortunately,I’ve seen that the plugin has been removed from WordPress repository?as of March 7. Is there a security reason or any conflicts with current version of WordPress that has caused the removal? Do you think that it will still be functionable? I know that updating the plugin isn’t in your plans, but could you please consider it in order to get it back on the repository?

    I have no idea why it ws closed. I never received a notice.

    I’ve put the plugin on github (https://github.com/RobertPHeller/WebLibrarian). The security issue is old and was fixed 6 months ago. I have no idea what the WP admins are up to.

    Thanks Robert, you’re the best!

    I hope everything gets sorted out and the plugin will be available again. Is there anything we can do, maybe send them a message or something? Also, if there any future security issues, do you think you’ll be able to provide any updates?

    I’ll try to make security updates. But it would probably be better if someone more into maintaining the code took it over.
