• I am creating a website using Elementor. I am wanting to replicate the layout shown here: https://cafeastrology.com/ So there is a body background color with a margin around the elements and a gap between the contents. Any ideas how this could be achieved? Would I need to add CSS?

    Thanks

  • I recommend getting in touch with Elementors’s support about this via https://elementor.com/support/ if you have Elementor Pro or https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/elementor/ if you do not.

The content on the right is a sidebar, its contents are blocks or widgets. Sidebars are typically a feature of your theme’s templates. How much control you have over spacing and background color depends upon the theme. It’s always feasible to add custom CSS if your theme doesn’t let you style things the way you want.

Even if your theme did not offer a true sidebar, it’s likely possible to build pages that appear to have a sidebar but are in fact part of the main content. Largely by implementing unequal width columns. If you need more direction on this approach, I recommend seeking advice in Elementor’s dedicated support forum.
