  • Hi,

We are sorry for the late response.

When navigating to Backup WD and creating/editing job, in Destination section you can see Amazon S3 option.

When ticking the checkbox, you can see the Folder appearing in Job: Database Backup section on the left.

Go to the Folder, provide Access Key and Private Key and continue from your Amazon Glacier account.

Also, please follow the instructions provided here.

Also, please, have a look at the screenshot.

Thank you and have a nice day!

    Thanks for the reply.

I am trying to set the destination to glacier, but the only things I see is related to S3. The Amazon Storage Class allow me to select between 3 types but none of these is Glacier.
Here is a image about what I am talking about.

    Thank you.

    Hi @nimre,

We are sorry for the trouble you have faced when trying to activate Glacier. It’s our fault we have not updated the user guide, since the feature has been removed. Thus, the Bakcup WD does not have the functionality of setting up the destination to glacier.

Please feel free to use one of the destinations available, all of them work smoothly.

Once again please accept our deepest apologies for the inconvenience you have faced.

    Have a nice day!

Oh that are bad news ??
The only plugin I’ve found which had Glacier support.

Thank you anyways. Have a nice day.
