• Resolved wpqwerty

    (@wpqwerty)

Hi, as you can see on the linked page the page is not scrolling with mouse wheel on Internet Explorer 11 when the WP Live Chat plugin is active. If I disable the plugin the page scrolls regularly.
    Any suggestion?
    Thanks

  • Hi there,

Thank you so much for getting in touch, we do greatly appreciate your time.

I have debugged this extensively and found the scrollbar does function as intended, however the mouse scroll wheel does not response in all circumstances.

Ad mentioned, this appears to only happen on Internet Explorer, and other browsers appear to function as intended.

This lead me to believe it may be due to a JavaScript bug which is only present in IE -> Unfortunately this does not appear to be the case, and instead it appears this may be a conflicting segment of code we make use of to show/hide specific agent information.

I would like to ask you to open a support ticket here: https://wp-livechat.com/contact-us – And reference this support thread, so that the ticket may be assigned to me directly.

This will allow us to discuss how to move forward with debugging the issue a bit further. We are eager to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Hi Dylan, thanks for the answer. Concerning the ticket on https://wp-livechat.com/contact-us what shall I indicate in the API Key field?
    Thanks

    Hi @wpqwerty,

My apologies for the delay, please simply enter ‘N/A’ into this field as it does not apply to the ticket request.

We will be removing the requirement for this field in the next week or so.

Thank you again for your time.
