Web Platform Installer stuck!

  • Hi, I’m trying to install word press on my pc (windows xp). I downloaded Microsoft’s Web Platform Installer 4.0 and Windows xp service pack3.
    the problem is that the Web Platform Installer get stuck.

    i found only one solution that didn’t work for me- to delete this file: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Web Platform Installer
    and to restart the WP installer.
