Web-server disk space in use by UpdraftPlus: 8.5 GB

Hi,

The 8.5Gb file size is the size of all the backups saved. Backups are by default stored in the “wp-content/updraft” folder. You can check the backup files that are stored there and delete the files that are no longer needed.

For the starting is only 1GB, then show more and more, does is the size of my website?

Any solution to reduce the size? Because now can’t make the backup to google drive, or need very long time to wait.

Please make sure you are not ticking the checkbox “Only allow this backup to be deleted manually” as indicated in the screenshot https://nimb.ws/eX8c0Q.

The site owner rarely changes in the files, so take a backup of the database instead of a full backup.
