Web site is not online anymore

  • First let me start with the fact that I am not an IT person. Please bear with me. We contracted a gentleman to help us get this site up. He ended up selling his business to a 3rd party who has never helped us on this. We paid a hosting fee to them for 2020 in early 2020 but have not heard back from them since. I was taught by the first consultant how to log in and do minor WordPress updating. But our page can’t be found now so I don’t even get that far. I cleared all cache and cookies and various other things you suggest, but I can’t do most of the other suggestions. My GoDaddy fees are current so it’s not that side – I believe it’s a WordPress fee that hasn’t been paid? I need help contacting whomever is necessary to get this paid up to date and my web site back up. I understand that it may seem like I’m someone trying to hijack the site, but please put me through the ringer and help me get this going again. I still have the original username and password, even though I created a new one to be able to post in this forum. Thanking you in advance…

    There is no “WordPress fee”. WordPress is free. Also, your login here has nothing to do with the login on your site or your site itself.

    Please contact GoDaddy support as your site’s address points to their hosting.

    Also, note that your domain registration, also through GoDaddy, expires in a couple of days:

    Thank you! My GoDaddy is set to auto renew and I logged in the other day and confirmed they had an accurate credit card to charge against. This is helpful to me and I appreciate your time. I’m not finding much help and this gets me past worrying about the WordPress part of it. However, I wonder why my old WordPress login and password cannot work?
