web site name

  • I want to change my web site name to my url name. Do I do that on the options page — after I change the name with my web hosting provider?

  • If you’re referring to the blog name, you can change it to whatever you want, whenever you want.

    I’m referring to the tagline — and it is the name of the website, but it’s different than the url.

    You can have https://www.example.com, but want a site name example2 without changing the domain name by either changing the title or tag line within the options page.

    If you want a new domain to be example2.com, then yes, you will have to register a new domain name, and then use the same options page to change the URI and then the title and tag line.
