will not load web site

  • Installed wordpress through ipage, appears to have worked ok, meaning no errors were evident. I downloaded a couple of themes and when I try and view my web page it shows the following

    This site is under development

    This page indicates the webmaster has not uploaded a website to the server.

    For information on how to build or upload a site, please visit your web hosting company’s site.

    What step have I missed? I appreciate anyhelp

  • Is there an index.html file in the web root directory? If there is, delete it.

    EDIT: Looks like you got it to work already.
