web stories not indexing, also manually requesting for index, still not indexing

    when I create a story, it won’t index. and when I manually request indexing in the search console, still not indexing.

  • @guru159 Thanks for getting in touch! This isn’t something that is controlled by the Web Stories plugin itself, but we’re working with the Search Console team to see if anything has changed on their end recently that could be causing this issue. I’ll update here as soon as I have more info.

    Just to update you that this is still an ongoing topic with the Search Console team. At this moment we don’t have a timeframe on when there will be an update and your topic may be closed.

    Please do continue to check back on the forums where any updates will be posted as soon as we have them.

    As previously noted, it is also worth mentioning that there are a number of factors as to why this might be happening and if you haven’t already I would recommend checking the Search Console Help Center which may be able to provide you with some further resources.
