Web Stories Plugin is not Working

Thank you for reaching out. Do you experience this issue with all other plugins disabled?

A safe way to check this is to troubleshoot your site using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin? This way you can simulate using your site with individual/all plugins disabled, to find if there is a conflict.

– Activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and enable its troubleshooting mode. This mode disables active plugins and switches to a default theme safely because it only affects the experience of the logged-in user.
– Enable the Web Stories plugin alone and check whether the issue is still present. If not, enabling plugins one by one in this mode may help pinpoint if something else is involved. Note: you can disable troubleshooting mode from the plugins page.

If you continue to experience issues after troubleshooting mode, could you please share your website URL and your Site Health information? You can do so privately if you prefer. This way we can check for any conflicts as well.

all other plugin is working fine. Only the Web Story plugin is not working on my desktop; but it is working on my smartphone

@anas631 To clarify, does Web Stories load when it is enabled by itself, and all of your other plugins have been disabled?

We want to check if Web Stories works when it is the only plugin enabled to rule out the possibility of another plugin conflicting with it.

Could you share a few additional details?

– Who is your hosting provider?
– Are you using any CDN service?
– Could you check for any browser console errors in the browser dev tools and send us a screenshot?

Could you also check if this issue occurs in an incognito/private window?

2. yes I am using the CND service; Cloudflare.

@anas631 Thank you. If it worked in an incognito browser, then it sounds like Web Stories works on its own. There may have been a conflicting browser extension or browser caching issue, and find out what could have caused your issue by disabling all of your extensions, and re-enabling them one by one until your issue occurs again.
