    @redwiregareth Hi there, could you try to flush your permalink settings by going to WordPress Settings > Permalinks > Click on “Save Changes” (without making any changes)?

    Then go to your Web Story and republish without making any changes as well.

    Hi,

    I tried that and still get the same white page. I also get the white page if I view the Preview.

    @redwiregareth Thank you.

    Are you using a custom theme? Could you please check if the theme or another plugin is causing the issue? You can safely check this by using the Health Check and Troubleshooting plugin in Troubleshooting Mode.

    – Download and install the plugin
    – Go to Plugins > Installed Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot
    – Click the arrow next to Available Plugins and select Enable next to Web Stories
    – Preview Stories or visit your site
    – If it is working successfully, it means that a theme or one of your plugins is causing the issue.

    To determine which plugin is conflicting, click Troubleshooting Mode in the WP top admin bar, and under Available Plugins, click Enable for one, then test again.

    If you stop being able to view a story after activating your theme or enabling a plugin, that indicates a possible conflict.

    Please let me know how this goes and we can go from there.

    @redwiregareth Just checking in here. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, have you had a chance to perform the troubleshooting steps & tests above? Thanks!

    Hi,

    I set up a staging site and web stories also didn’t work, which is to be expected. I turned all the plugins off and it still didn’t work. I switched to a default WordPress theme and then it started working again. I reactivated the our bespoke theme and it continued to work. I reactivated all the plugins and it also continued to work. So ultimately I ended up going full circle back to the original setup that was failing but it continued to work, which makes no sense at all.

    In theory I could go through this process on our lives site and perhaps it would fix the problem. But the client wont be happy with me doing this.

    Unfortunately we’ve decided to look for another plugin. Thanks for your time.
