Web Story Update Conflicts

    After updating the Google Web Stories plugin I started to have weird redirects happening on my site, always to the same page. Then when I was deactivating other things on my site it started redirecting all traffic to web stories and automatically opening up web stories.

    This was not happening on all devices. It was happening more consistently on iPhones and only on mobile. We finally cleared up the issues by deactivating the plugin and we are in the process of rolling it back to the previous version.

    @itsnotalljulie Thanks for your topic. We’ll be glad to look into this but could you please have the latest version of the plugin active? Also please share your site URL. This way we can see what is occurring on your site.

    Just checking in whether you were able to resolve this issue. It’s worth noting that the Web Stories plugin by itself does not do any redirects whatsoever, so it’s likely a combination of another plugin interfering with default URL functionality in WordPress.
