Web-to-lead Error 400 with TLS 1.1 Requirement Enabled
-
I’m using this plugin to do web-to-lead on Salesforce. And with the TLS 1.1 update DISABLED, everything works fine.
However, when I go into my Salesforce account and ENABLE the TLS 1.1 requirement, when I try to submit a lead to SF, I get an HTTP 400 error in the plugin’s logging:
2017-03-02 12:51:33.810483 – ERROR –> The Salesforce server may be down, since it should always return ‘200’. The code it returned was: 400
2017-03-02 12:51:33.810575 – ERROR –> There was an error adding 1362 to Salesforce. Thanks to the anther recent thread in this forum, I’ve updated the URL that the plugin posts to (https://webto.salesforce.com/servlet/servlet.WebToLead), but that doesn’t seem to help our problem. We’ve checked our server and port 443 is open on the firewall and we’re TLS 1.1 and 1.2 compliant.
Has anyone else seen this problem or can anyone offer any other suggestions to try to get this working? If it helps, we copied this website to a completely different web server and it didn’t help our problem at all.
Thanks in advance for thoughts and suggestions.
