WebCollect and Data Extensions

  • Our company uses Data Extensions with WebCollect. It looks like version 1.0.7 does not allow use of any APIs except for the SOAP API. I’m still working my way through understanding how to use GravityForms integrated with ExactTarget, but I basically need to mimic what is used on the rest of our websites. For those forms, the action url is:

    https://cl.s6.exct.net/DEManager.aspx

    I haven’t been able to figure out how to use Data Extensions with either version 1.0.6 or version 1.0.7. I’m not sure if it’s relevant but I get the following error whenever trying to retrieve the names of lists in the ExactTarget settings:

    I was able to get ExactTarget’s Web Collect DEManager working with Gravity Forms. I needed to use Forms: 3rd Party Integration and custom roll my own plugin. I can add the code to github if anyone is interested.
