Webhooks not validated yet

    Hi there. I’ve seen others about this matter but haven’t been able to resolve:

    I have setup separate Webhooks in Stripe – 1 for WooCommerce (working) and a separate one exclusively for Event Tickets. Within the EventTickets settings, I can successfully connect to Stripe and setup the webhook in Stripe with the Event Ticket suggested events (11 of them).

    But when I try and copy/paste the signing secret back into Event Ticket settings and:
    – click Save OR
    – Click or tab out of the field
    the Signing Secret field and the ‘Save Changes’ button greys out with a message:
    Webhooks not validated yet.

    I used site inspector to remove the ‘disabled’ aspect of the Save Changes button to see If could generate an error and got the following:

    Your form had the following errors:
    Invalid or incomplete field passed (Field ID: tickets-commerce-stripe-webhooks-signing-key )
    The above setting was not saved. Other settings were successfully saved.

    I’ve double/triple checked the signing secret and webhook url.
    I tried creating a new Webhook from scratch and removed the first one and also disconnected/reconnected Stripe to no avail.

    Confirming – it does allow tickets to be purchased. the payments go through successfully. The settings are NOT in test mode. Stripe etc are all enabled.
    It’s just the webhook that won’t save/validate.

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Can you please check and confirm that you have the latest version of all our plugins installed and updated? Also, check to see if you have Pretty Permalinks enabled under WordPress Settings > Permalinks.

    if that’s done and this issue still exists, then please follow this guide to test for conflicts with your theme or another plugin and let me know what you find.

    Hi there Marho.
    Confirming it was a fresh install of the latest version of all of your plugins (Event Calendar, Event Tickets etc).
    I also have pretty permalinks setup.

    Happy to follow a guide. We do have WooCommerce using a webhook for Stripe and MemberPress uses a stripe webhook – but these have been created/setup separately to avoid conflicts using the same webhooks.

    Any suggestions appreciated ??

    Hi @jacobgates, thanks for confirming this with us. It seems like you do have all 3 using Webhook all at once on your website, and could potentially cause some conflict. I would check with the team if there’s something we can come up with or if there’s any workaround available.

    Have you tried validating without Woo/Memberpress, with just Event Tickets running? See if that makes a difference.

    I’d get back to you as soon as I know more.

    this same issue i am facing even i am using only event tickets plugin. stripe is connecting but webhook Signing Secret is not validated yet showing all the times whenever i try with new stripe webhook..

    I resolve this issue, Downgrade your php version 8.0 to 7.4 It works fine

    Hi @sonudbm, good to know that it is now working on your end, and you have already figured it out in regard to the issue you’re having. With PHP 8, which is still incompatible with our plugins — we would definitely recommend downgrading to 7.4. Thanks for sharing in this thread as well.
