• Adsense and Google webmaster tools seem to think that my weblog https://intheboatshed.net is not mobile friendly, which I find puzzling, as I’m using the modern and updated Twenty Fourteen theme, which I think is meant to be mobile friendly. Traffic has been falling off for many weeks…

The WPTouch plugin does not appear to improve the situation…

Even with WPTouch installed, Webmaster tools reckons that it can’t retrieve the website.

I’m using the latest Wp installation 4.2.2, and my plugins are:

    AdSense Now! Pro
    Akismet
    All In One SEO Pack
    Anti Feed-Scraper Message
    Better WordPress Minify
    Enhanced WP-ContactForm
    Select GARD Pro
    GARD Pro
    Google Analyticator
    Hello Dolly
    Jetpack by WordPress.com
    MiwoFTP (deactivated)
    Official StatCounter Plugin
    Privacy Policy
    Soundcloud is Gold
    TentBlogger Optimize WordPress Database Plugin
Ultimate Follow Me Plugin by Free Blog Factory
    W3 Total Cache (currently deactivated)
    Select Wordfence Security
    WordPress Database Backup
    WordTwit Twitter Plugin
    WP Clean Up
    WP Missed Schedule
    WP Robots Txt
    WP Smush
    WP Super Cache (currently deactivated)
    WPtouch Mobile Plugin

If anyone has any usable ideas, I would be most grateful!

    Thanks, Gavin

  • It passes for me.

Have you recently changed the DNS or put the site live? It may still be propagating.

Ah – yes, the site was offline for some hours a day or two ago when I forgot to act on an ICANN update deadline… So that could be it. Thanks for the thought.

    WPTouch is deactivated, btw.

Meanwhile I’m still getting this message from Google’s test page: ‘Failed to fetch the requested URL.Dismiss’ That’s for both intheboatshed.net and https://www.intheboatshed.net
