• Added 720p WEBM and 480p MP4 – one excludes another in the switch. Removing 720p video, makes 480p show in the list and otherwise, removing 480p makes 720p stay in the list. Never both, if both enabled, only 480p is in the list of the switch.

Hi, this is not a bug. Just make sure you have your videos either encoded as mp4 or webm or both (to support older browsers) and everything will work as expected. Have a look at the

Yeah? Webm has zero support on mobile devices, while on PC it gives more efficiency. I need to keep MP4 of certain resolution AND webm of higher resolution. Videos are not the same to be overlapped like in faq. Please add a control setting for that.

Just encode your videos to both mp4 AND webm and let the browser decide which one to pick. This is not related to my plugin, that’s the way html5 video source choosing works: https://developer.mozilla.org/de/docs/Web/HTML/Element/source#Video_Example

Ok, never mind, I found the way to override that by creating multiple instances of the videos in your plugin.
I’ve mentioned already, that auto-selection is not needed in same cases, because MP4 is 480P and intended for mobile devices like iphone and webm is 1080p, intended for PC viewing. If I leave the way it is by default, people who enter via PC can’t choose 1080P webm version at all, because it’s not showing up, because existing mp4 overlaps it.
Gear selector shouldn’t depend on html5 auto-selection standart, this is totally unreasonable, especially when files have absolutely different names.
