Could you please use any email log plugin example https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-logging/ and see if it triggers the email?

In short, the Hustle uses the wp_mail() when using SMTP plugin it will override the wp_mail() so first we need to know if the email is being triggered.
