Webmaster tools sitemap error

The latest error in webmaster tools was today, I’ve checked it in webmaster tools and it said everything was fine, so I’ve re-submitted it. But I’ve lost rankings in the past few weeks, not sure what’s going on?

There is no any issue. Everything is ok.

Hi Emre, I am actually having the same issue. It repeated multiple times.

At first I got the HTML error, then hours later I tried again and it worked, then two days layer I got errors in google search console. I tweaked what I wanted the sitemap to index, I resubmitted the sitemap and got the HTML error again.

Hi @theotherplatt, WPFC cannot cause issue because if a url has “sitemap” keyword, the cache is disable for the url.

Can you deactivate WPFC and try it please?
