WEBO Site SpeedUp Feeback

    The Webo support team offered a fast response times to squash problems, and I personally experienced a turn-around time of only a few hours for some initial problems I found and reported to the Webo team.

    The Webo tools use some great PHP clean code techniques to maximize your website performance with static assets, static gzip, and a good range of CDN support (this includes your own locally defined virtual static servers).

    As a PHP and JavaScript programmer, I can say that my analysis of Webo code is that it reads to having some of the best and updated techniques to achieve both performance and predictable stability and cross-browser support.

    I have noticed that the Webo programming team improve and update this product on a daily and hourly base.

  • I recently tried the Webo Site SpeedUp plugin. Yesterday, I experienced some problems on the first install (random errors pertaining to CHMOD change requests despite correct CHMOD settings). Then it crashed after I added some of the advanced settings and I could only get a black screen for it from my WP admin panel.

    I tried one last time to re-install it today. Well, for some reason, it’s working now. I have it set just on ‘optimize’ with a few extra options clicked. From Pingdom, it’s saved 3.5 seconds on my page load time from WP Total Cache.

    On the current settings, it works very well and I would recommend the plugin. I’m not sure why but the CSS Sprites slowed my site down drastically when I selected this option. Also, some of the advanced options didn’t work for my particular site since they created display problems.

    Other than that, I’m very impressed with this plugin. I use the Hybrid-News theme which didn’t play well with the minify options from WP Total Cache, this aspect works fine for Webo with the Hybrid theme framework for my site.
