    Surprised to discover this. The product images can’t be synced because webp is not supported?

    Our hosting provider does server level webp convertion. It’s very efficient format and widely used.

    “Image type webp is not supported. Must be one of GIF, JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF.”

    Product categories won’t sync. Upcoming feature or intended to stay this way?

    Hello @techtoned,

    sorry for the wait, we try to answer within 24 hours, but we seem to have missed your question here.

    This limitation of the plugin, is actually not caused by the plugin itself, but by the Zettle side of the sync feature. That does not allow us to process anything other than the mentioned image types.

    We have previously asked if other, more modern image types, would be added, but we have not yet received any confirmation on this matter. Because of this, we don’t expect the feature to added any day soon.

    Sorry that I cannot provide you any more positive response, but I would think the truth is always the best route to go. This is in the hands of the product owners (Zettle & PayPal), we (the developers) can’t do much to change this situation, until the product owner does.
