WebP images

    Hi there, apologize for my bad English…
    Thanks to your plugin, I converted all the images of my website in WebP format. I’m wondering what will happen with the images if one day I delete the plugin. Does the images still stay in my website?

    Hello @drunkfox,

    In case, you decide to uninstall the plugin at some point, all previously generated WebP files will be preserved.

    However, if the plugin is active on your website and you decide to deactivate the “Use WebP Images” option, this will delete all existing WebP files including images generated by the plugin and manually uploaded ones. The mentioned behaviour has been also described by a warning message when you switch this option in the plugin’s settings.
