    Hi,

We are using this plugin to server images in webp format to improve the performance of the site. We converted the images using bulk optimizer to webp format, but we could still see the issue on pagespeed instghts “Serve images in next gen format”. Can you please help us with why the webp images are not delivered to the browser?

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @vaishnavip ,
It looks like some of the images flagged by PSI are CSS background images, which requires the use of our lazy loader.
You might already be using that, but you are also using the WP Rocket lazy loader, so you’ll need to disable that one in order to let EWWW IO operate properly.

Let me know if that doesn’t take care of it!

    Hi @nosilver4u,

    Thanks for your response!

We do have lazyloader plugin installed on our site and we also deactivated it and checked the page insights results but it was still showing to “Serve images in next gen format”.

    Thanks!

Okay, well you’ll need to disable the WP Rocket lazy loader and purge all caches before I can narrow things down further.
