• Hello,

I have an issue with the “Use WebP Images” feature. The converting process has finished (i can see the .webp files in File manager), however in the frontend still the jpg files are loaded. I have reset browser cache and dynamic cache. Nginx Direct Delivery is off.

    Hello @alvik

Could you please check if the Cloudflare cache is flushed as well? I can confirm the images are converted to .webp and with the activation of our NGINX Direct Delivery the server should be serving their .webp versions.

If purging the Cloudflare cache doesn’t resolve the issue, I would suggest that you open a ticket in our Helpdesk request where we will be able to review the issue in details. It is possible that a theme or plugin is interfering with the way the images are resolved in the browser.

    Best regards,

    Hello,

No, clearing the cache in Cloudflare didn’t work.

Do I need NGINX Direct Delivery in order for the images to be served as webp? We have turned this off because it caused issues with some scripts.

    Hi @alvik,

Yes, in order for images to be served in WebP format, you need to activate “NGINX Direct Delivery.”

    Cheers!

    Hi @alvik,

Follow-Up: Your images are displaying in WebP format, so you’re good to go!

    Cheers!
