webp images extra code

    Hi, I have custom code in my wordpress site.
    This extra code has src attribute with img link.
    I optimized the images but, when I check the folder of media (/images) in the ftp, I cant find the webp version for those images.
    Its possible optimize background img from css as well?

    Hi,

    images can always be optimized as long as it’s seen in WP media page

    but webp delivery won’t work on CSS

    Its in media files, (/files is the main folder of media uploads). But the extra code html (custom pages), the files are uploaded by ftp.

    Hi,

    if files are uploaded by FTP, then WP doesn’t have record about these information , and since WP doesn’t have trace on them , then LSCWP wouldn’t know about it ??
