WebP images not pushed for product variations

Hi,

Thank you for your great plugin.

Recently, I have noticed that while WebP images are created upon image upload and successfully offloaded to S3, only jpg is served for variable product images. If you take a look at the link provided, the featured product image served as Webp at first, but when a variation is chosen, the variation image is served as jpg. Now also the featured image is served as jpg.

All images for simple products are served as WebP, as intended. So the issue seems to be specific to variable products.

In setting, I have enabled JPG/PNG to WebP, JS WebP Rewriting, Force WebP , and have indicated WebP URLs of my bucket, cloudfront, and CName.

Any help would be appreciated,
