webp not requested, but generated anyway!

    Hello, I wanted to test the plugin and… I bought credits. The plugin is very good BUT the optimization of the images of all the existing library created the webp versions when I did not want it. I had however unchecked the “webp” box in the settings.

    I removed all “optimized” images and the plugin because of this ?? I spent credits for nothing (because of webp)

    Following this, I emptied all my caches, including that of cloudflare… and I had 404s on a lot of images ??

    I had to restore my site from a backup to get everything back to normal…

    Oops!!! I think I know where the problem came from and it has nothing to do with Shortpixel! In fact, there were already .webp images created by my old cache system (LiteSpeed)… ShortPixel is therefore not the cause of the problem ??
