    If I enable Image WebP Replacement must all images in my library preexist as webp versions first or what will happen if enabled and there is only a jpg version available?

    Will webp version be autogenerated for new uploads?

    Hi, @boborg

    WebP files are not autogenerated. They must be created through the plugin’s Image Optimization feature. That said, if you enable WebP Replacement, it will only activate in situations where a WebP version of an image already exists. Otherwise, the original JPG will be used.
