Webpage is using canonical link tag

    I have this great plugin installed in one subdomain i.e., https://kannada.readoo.in. When I ran an SEO audit of the website, it showed that
    “your webpage is using the canonical link tag. This means that your webpage is not the preferred one to use in the search results.
    ><link rel=”canonical” href=”https://kannada.readoo.in/&#8221; />”

    When I checked, it looks like this file has done this
    ‘rel=”canonical”‘ ./wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/frontend/class-frontend.php
    echo ‘<link rel=”canonical” href=”‘ . esc_url( $canonical, null, ‘other’ ) . ‘” />’ . “\n”;

    Can you Please help me in rectifying this issue.
