• I have been working on my webpage all day and have deleted it 4 times and reinstalled wordpress 4.4.2 4 times as well. The webpage keeps changing itself and the layout is ruined. Sometimes if I clear my browser cahce it’ll display correctly but then it will revert back to how it is now. My page is wankwanktalk.com (not porn related just inside joke thing). Any help would be much appreciated and I’m still new to wordpress though this is my 4th site. I don’t know any HTML or CSS code like most and rely solely on manipulating widgets.

  • Hi, obe1984, & welcome to the WordPress support forum. First, thank you so much for including a link to your site. It really helps diagnose problems like yours. Because you did that, I was able to look at a lot of things concerning your site, & 1 thing that strikes me immediately is the fact that you’ve got w3 total cache enabled. This is a plugin that can greatly help performance once your site is completely online, but, truthfully, when you’re in process of site development, it’s better disabled, so you can see the changes you’ve made to your site immediately. Please try deactivating this plugin. You may also need to consult the plugin’s documentation, because there are certain files it may leave behind, as well as some directives in your .htaccess & wp-config.php files that should be deleted as well. I think I read that recent implementations of the plugin have made deactivating easier, but please consult the readme or the plugin documentation itself rather than take my word for that.

Please let us know if this helped or not.
