• Hi guys,

Im in the process of building our small company a new website via a WordPress backend.

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction as to why? every time I create a new landing page for a specific area the total page requests for all of our pages goes up.

For instance I first created this page which used to have about 96 p?age requests:

    https://051.970.myftpupload.com/photo-booth-hire-cobham.html

Then I duplicated that page a few times and customised the content specific for different geographical locations:

?However now both the new pages and one listed first went up to a??????bout 140 page requests. The only thing that’s different ot?her than text is 4 images. Which is been handled by Foo Gallery’s plug-in

Is this normal, as I’m concerned it’s going to spiral out of control as I have to create another 20 landing pages yet?

On a side note, the pag?e speed tests don’t look too bad but any advice on getting the best speed results would be greatly appreciated.

    ?

    Thanks in advance ?

    ?Doug??

  • Hello,

Speed is just fine! Dom content is loaded under 2 seconds (74 requests).

Did see your slider image is 1 Mb in size, that’s a bit large.
You can gain some speed using “wp-super-cache” plugin.
Works fine with just fine with”autoptimize” in standard mode.

Thanks for the response. I will attempt to bring down size of the sliders somewhat as, like you say the sliders are 1 mb each.

Do you think the growing number of responses I’m having is an issue?

Also I’m using autooptimise app, can this be used in conjunction with WP-Super-Cache?

Yes, works just fine with ”autoptimize” in standard mode.
