In the Google Structured Data Testing tool, I see the top schema output on my blog posts as WebPage instead of Article. Using the new Google Rich Results Tester, I don’t see Article at the top. I also don’t see any errors in either of them, or issues loading the page.

What could be the cause of not outputting the proper schema markup for articles?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

We understand that it must be disappointing that the schema.org structured data of the Yoast SEO plugin isn’t working on your website as expected. We’ve provided the usual checks and culprits as to what could be causing this issue, but it looks like it might be something specific to your website.

We appreciate that you’ve purchased Yoast SEO Premium. With that, comes access to premium support. So we hope we’ll be able to take a better look at your set-up and see what’s going on. I’ve been using Yoast on this site for years and do annual audits, including SEO audits on it.

But, I have made changes to the site since the last audit with both plugins and theme changes.

Was hoping the clone, with all plugins off and different, standard theme would have helped identify a conflict. So, yes, frustrated that it did not and will take deeper checks.

I’ve already emailed support and hopefully we’ll get to the bottom of it soon. Sent them this ticket to reference all that has been done and checked, so not a waste of time, and won’t have to start from scratch again.

Thanks to everyone for your help. We know lots that’s not wrong with it!!
