    Hi,
Images of the type “Well done. This media file is already optimized” are not automagically converted to webp on upload to the Media Library. I created and uploaded the webp-versions myself with XnConvert (both the image and the thumbnails).
The webp’ed versions are not used/shown in the frontend. Am I missing something?

This works with e.g. WebP Express. I use(d) that plugin – except the conversion – for displaying webp-images that were converted by Plus WebP plugin. WebP Express even then created the correct <picture>-tag.

WP 5.2.2 PHP 7.3 No CDN
    Imagify options:
    – Auto-optimize on upload
    – Backup originals
    – Create Webp
    – Display webp on website, using <picture> tags

    Image(s) concerned (in Uploads/Year/Month folder):

    Hello @mmwbadmin

Thanks a lot for your patience.

Indeed, if you get “Well done” message, WebP will not be created – however, we will allow this very soon so make sure to update the plugin when it is available ??

Meanwhile, try to rename IMG_20180529_173407-150×150.webp to IMG_20180529_173407-150×150.jpg.webp (note the .jpg part) – so original image extension should be part of the title.

    This should work.

    Best Regards
