    Hi there,

I am new to this forum, and hope that I followed all guidelines correctly. I really would appreciate any help on following issue:

    TL/DR:

Creating my side, I imported my last website I created, activated the Astra Plugin, and the main page was then assigned to the link programmiereninpython.org/home/, and an Astra Created Home Side was assigned to programmiereninpython.org. I located the Astra Created Home side in the wordpress menu and deleted the side, and changed the link of the main page from programmiereninpython.org/home/ to programmiereninpython.org. Now, when I am loading the side programmiereninpython.org with the wordpress editor, it shows me the correct side, but when I load the side programmiereninpython.org to see how it is shown online, it shows me the deleted website. Further the side programmiereninpython.org/home/ shows a 404.

    The issue in short:

You can see here in this picture how it looks like from the editor (also the link programmiereninpython.org is visible from the editor):

    https://postimg.cc/0MScxyk4/2a7f6ae1

which has barely anything to do with the website programmiereninpython.org

    My questions are:

    1. How can this happen and what is actually going on here?
    2. How to solve the issue and display the side online as it is shown in the editor?

Thank you very much for any help with this.

My first assumption was, that there was somewhere in the wordpress file hierarchy set the wrong link. So I searched all wordpress files for the appearance of the link programmiereninpython.org. I found three files that have that link listed:

    ./wp-content/uploads/uag-plugin/assets/0/uag-css-100.css
    ./wp-content/uploads/uag-plugin/assets/0/uag-css-323.css
    ./wp-content/uploads/uag-plugin/assets/0/uag-css-77.css

But all three files only contain pictures that were uploaded to the side, like this line of code shows:

    background-image: url(https://programmiereninpython.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Call-to-action.jpeg)

I am clueless how this could happen.

    Hi @masaword ,

It appears that the homepage of your website is still pointing to the previously set one, which is deleted now. To begin with, I’d suggest navigating to Dashboard > Settings > Reading and setting the correct homepage. You can refer to this screenshot.

After that, simply refresh your permalinks by going to Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks and clicking Save. Let me know if this helps!

    Kind regards,
    Aradhy

    Hi @bsfaradhy ,

Great, it works again. Thank you very much ??

As you spotted right, the issue was within reading, both Homepage and Post Page were equal. It even showed me a error message on this side. I changed them as you can see here and refreshed permalinks. After that, the side was displayed correctly again. Thank you so much for your help ??

    Kind regards,

    Marvin
