Website and admin area blank after update

    Hi, I have just been on the admin area of my blog and saw a little 1 for an update on what I think was a plugin. After clicking it my website and admin area are both blank. Have I lost everything?
    I have searched the support forums and most of the answers are relating to a PC, I’m on a Mac and quite new to it. Can anyone help using easy to follow steps?
