I’m using the free plugin, have my calendar set to public, set API restrictions to “Don’t restrict key”. But I’m getting a permission error when I restrict the API key to certain websites.

Are application restrictions required to be set to None for the free plugin to work?

If the plugin allows for website restrictions are there certain formats or domains that are required? I tried multiple combinations of domain entries and none of them worked.

I read in another post the restrictions have to be set to none. Is this exposing my site to potential exploits of the API key?

    Hi there,

Thanks for keeping in touch with us.

In this case, as long as you do not share your API key, I do not foresee any potential exploits.

    I hope this information helps.

    Kind Regards
