So i have 2 problem that might seems so basic, but i still dont know how to solve it. My website been running with litespeed cache for a long time, but just recently. I feel like litespeed cache seems to performed different from previous time. Even when i didn’t change any of its settings. Also, i have noticed that my site do not serve webp image from litespeed cache when the plugin stated that it already served the webp file. Any suggestion to me for these problems i have?

The way you upload the image , seems using the Elementor’s thumbnail ? that is probably not compatible with webp or image optm

did you see these images on Media page that gets optimized already ?

for example this https://supportstartup.net/wp-content/uploads/elementor/thumbs/sertifikat-video-ads-jasa-konsultan-digital-marketing-resmi-dari-google-pv1in67a2vdziptb1kj8r31oleviyfsmumcc4w4sv4.jpg , please screenshot me what it looks like in Media page

for first issue , I am not sure what it is about , did you upgrade LSCWP recently ? or other plugins ?

Hi, thanks for the reply on my issue,

    1. As for your question, i must say that im really new on this wordpress or elementor, so that i dont really know what elementor thumbnail means. But, the way i uploaded my image is within an “image widget” from elementor, and i always used that methode from the very beginning. As for your reqeust, here’s some of the images looks within the media library:

    https://paste.pics/c270c7b28c6e57e01b86d9317a77bec7

I also need to say that in the past, all of my images have been successfully converted to webp file when i click “open image in new tab” from incognito browser.

    2. Yes, i always make sure to use the latest version of all my plugins in case there’s some improvement that i don’t know, but will improve my performance. But, i noticed a problem with guest optimization in LSCWP. which i will provide the screenshot.

    https://paste.pics/ce540b49b482237bf18b484740eac97b
That is the looks which i desire to show on my article

    https://paste.pics/ac5ecccc4a3dbae426554000c6a92a51
And that is screenshot i took from google’s pagespeed insight. Which is showing the author metadata before the published date.

Now, when i use incognito to visit my article, at first the author meta data showed, and then it dissapeared. I have excluded wp-content from CSS or JS minify, but i don’t know how this problem keeps happening.

    Hi,

    1) normally when you upload an image to WP , it will retain the file name , for example

you uploaded an image file named sertifikat-video-ads-jasa-konsultan-digital-marketing-resmi-dari-google.jpg , then it will be also shown as sertifikat-video-ads-jasa-konsultan-digital-marketing-resmi-dari-google.jpg or sertifikat-video-ads-jasa-konsultan-digital-marketing-resmi-dari-google-scaled.jpg , but in your case , all these images have become sertifikat-video-ads-jasa-konsultan-digital-marketing-resmi-dari-google-pv1in67a2vdziptb1kj8r31oleviyfsmumcc4w4sv4.jpg

with a random string attached , that means something has changed the file , with this change , the new file doesn’t have webp version , and naturally , no webp replacement will take place

    2) please share me the link of that page.

Hi, thanks for getting back on me

    1. So i noticed that there’s a “recover from back up” button on media pages for each image. I have pressed that button for some images and it successfully recover the orginal link that you mentioned. Example:

    sertifikat-video-ads-jasa-konsultan-digital-marketing-resmi-dari-google.jpg

    from this

    sertifikat-video-ads-jasa-konsultan-digital-marketing-resmi-dari-google-pv1in67a2vdziptb1kj8r31oleviyfsmumcc4w4sv4.jpg

So i assume that i need to do the same action for all of my images then? But isn’t there any faster way than clicking my image one by one for more than 500 images? Also, after i do that? What step should i do next to convert & optimize my image into webp?

    2. Here’s the URL for that article i mentioned :
    https://supportstartup.net/franchise-fried-chicken-dibawah-10-juta/
Also, that date after the main image is added with custom code in functions.php file. I hope that you can find the problem with the author meta data without disabling the guest mode opt, i noticed a lot of performance improvement with that feature.

    Hi,

    1) in image optm page , at right-lower corner , there is a button “destroy all optimized data” , that will restore all images to its backup

    2) your PSI screenshot was very blur , but from what I see right now

it looks right to me ?

Hi, thanks for getting back on me

    1. I did what you said and it worked. But what’s the next step will be? I still don’t know why those random string is attacched on my image. And last time i optimized image, i just press “Send Optimization Request” and that random string suddenly appeared.

    2. Sorry, i turned off guest optimization so that visitors won’t see the author meta data, im able to turn it for one day so that you can check it out. Also, here’s another screenshot i take when guest optimization is turned on

    1) to me it seems like from theme / Elementor , suggest to create a stage site and test from there

    2) yeah sorry you put 2 different article and I don’t really understand the language , so please do me a side by side compare for with and without GM on that screenshot…

Hi, thanks for getting back on me.
    1. Currently i tried to optimized image as usual (like every LSCWP Tutorial on youtube) to see if the problem still exist later on

    2. My main problem is that based on Pagespeed Insight, there’s this “oleh Huazil Muta” when guest optimization is turned on. & I want to make that words dissapear

Screenshot with Guest Optimization turned On :
    https://paste.pics/ad60dd8ae75fef13fe68854df91e3955

Screenshot with Guest Optimization turned Off :

Also, here’s my custom code i added to my theme’s function.php in case there’s something to be added to fix my problem :

I think the author data was in the HTML source , and probably hide by CSS or JS afterward , but on guest mode , CSS/JS are paused , that’s why it doesn’t get hidden

    Thread Starter kannabanna

    (@kannabanna)

So there is no solution on my problem and i should deactivate guest optimization forever on my site?

I know it sounded demanding, but can you give me suggestion on how to fix that problem?

you will need to find out why that line doesn’t show on normal page , and then apply same to guest mode page

    Thread Starter kannabanna

    (@kannabanna)

i’ve done some testing and it appears that that line appeared when i turned on combine css feature. But how do i change the setting on guest optimization? Sorry, im not so technical in wordpress.

    Plugin Support qtwrk

    (@qtwrk)

wait , does it show up if you disable plugin completely ?

    Thread Starter kannabanna

    (@kannabanna)

No, and i don’t need to disable the plugin completely, just turning off guest optimization or combine css will do the job. But yeah, that will make my score lower on pagespeed insight

    Plugin Support qtwrk

    (@qtwrk)

yeah , I think it’s related to UCSS

the author name is in the HTML code , but somehow it was suppressed or hidden , you probably need to find out how it was done , and then apply that to UCSS as well
