Website breaks when Redux is active

Update

I have tried rolling back the plugin, multiple times, but it does not seem to be working.

Tried rolling back WP Core, still same issue.

Website is under maintenance as its breaks whether or not the plugin is active or not.

If its active all the styling breaks:

If its inactive we loose theme options, logo, etc..

Hi,

If Redux breaks your website while it’s active, then there should be an error caused by Redux that causes this problem.

To figure this out, please try the following:

please enable WordPress debugging: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

After enabling the debug mode, please replicate the issue and share with me the latest error logs in your WordPress error log file.

You may also ask your hosting provider to provide you the PHP error log and share it with me.

Thank you for your response.

I have turned on WP Debug & WP Debug log, but it did not create a debug.log file in wp-content.

There are also no console error associated with your plugin, but turning the plugin off fixes the CSS problems that it is causing.

I will remove the maintenance from the website for the next few hours so you can take a look yourself.

Hi,

I thought that Redux triggers a fatal error on your website and causes your website to stop working but it seems it’s not the case.

It seems that the theme has been broken after the update and the theme options are not working like previously.

I think that there is something wrong with the theme and they need to fix it.

Can you please contact the theme support to fix this issue?

Why do you think its the theme? Everything works as expected only until your plugin is activated.

How can theme options vanish only when your plugin is deactivated? We are using Tower theme

Just to elaborate on my response.

When your plugin is activated, the theme options are available, but it causes the issue you see on the website where styling breaks.

When I deactivate your plugin, theme options can no longer be accessed, but all styling is fine.

I think that there is an issue with a field or a set of fields that control the page Layout.

Can you check what controls the page layout in your theme and check if the field/fields have proper values?

I have checked them all and they are all fine.

I have deployed theme options from dev website which does not have this issue, and it didnt fix anything, so it is not theme options.

Also I dont see how it could be theme options as those didnt change after the update. While the website does break after I activate your plugin.

I will get in touch with theme support to see what’s going on.
