    Hi,
    Website broke down after doing Defender Php run block
    How to undo run php?

    “Pagelayer builder” plugin stopped working!
    There is an error “givecss.php” and “givejs.php” cannot be found under console.

    How can I fix?

  • Hi @lagenti,

    Sorry to hear you had issues with Defender, are you referring to “Prevent PHP execution” with “PHP run block”?

    If that’s the case and the issue is only with your page builder then you can navigate to Defender > Security Tweaks > Resolved and expand “Prevent PHP execution”.
    In there, you will see an input field where you can exclude your page builder files to keep this security tweak still running but allowing page builder files.

    If you want to revert it completely you can access your WP files via FTP or cPanel and edit /wp-includes/.htaccess and /wp-content/.htaccess files, in them you will find Defender rules wrapped with Defender comments so you can remove them and that will do the trick.
