  • I upgraded from 1.37 to 1.3.8 and now I just have a white screen in admin and front end. No other plug ins are active and I am using a standard WP theme.

    Thanks

Same here. Just have a whitescreen and a 500 error. This happened last time, too ??

Sorry for the trouble that you encounter. The issue has been fixed, please update to the version 1.3.8.1 and let me know the results.

Good to go now! Thanks for the super fast fix! I know thing happen and appreciate that!

    Excellent response time, thank you.

The site now loads after updating to 1.3.8.1 however if I try and go in to a question from the list of questions I get an Oops page not found try searching… screen.

The same happens once I click the Ask Question button beneath typing in a question.

No other plug ins are active and I am using a standard WP theme.

    Thanks

A restart of the server brought these pages back so I guess it was a cache thing.

(I still have the layout issue as reported here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/layout-of-single-question-all-wrong?replies=1)

    Thanks guys

@ben-corden: To fix the issue “Page not found”, please log in to your Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks then click “Save Changes” to flush rewrite rules.

This issue only encounters with Twenty Fifteen template, we will fix this issue on the upcoming version of DW Question & Answer. For now, please switch to another theme (Twenty Twelve for example) to use this plugin.

Many thanks. This seems to have sorted most of the Page Not Found.

I still see one when I click the name of a category from either the list of questions or from within a specific question.

On checking the link it is inserting a double forward slash after dwqa-questions, could this be the problem?

    index.php/dwqa-questions//example/

I have tried copying the URL and removing the extra forward slash but this doesnt take you to the list of questions in the category either so perhaps something should be between the 2 slashes?

    Thanks
