• I recently hired an individual to create a calculator for my website. The calculator has been posted to a certain page on my website via html code. Since the calculator has been added to my website, my blogs seem to be messed up now. The blogs used to be written and displayed in separate paragraphs, but now everything in each blog post is smashed together and does not look right (like a blog that is usually four paragraphs is now one long paragraph with no brakes in between). Any ideas on what I can check to fix it? I have siteground and I know they did some adjustments in the optimizer tool.

  • It’s most likely that the CSS styling from the calculator tool is messing with the CSS rules from your site. It could be almost anything so it’s impossible to say without seeing the actual site itself, but the first step is identifying the CSS rules for the <p> tags of the site and seeing what’s making them display as they are.

so I guess I could exclude just the Calculator page on the css site ground setting and the rest of the website should be fine?

No idea. ?? I don’t use Siteground, so I don’t know how their systems work like that. It’s worth a try if you can revert quickly if something isn’t right.
