I am getting the same message. Is there anything I can do with the plugin settings to switch from u2F api to web authentication api?

Same problem here. I love your plugin and would rather not stop using it.

I solved the problem by going to WordPress.com via my blog and under Security, activating Two-factor authentication. You can activate your key and the login process is faster & easier with only a single click logging you in directly to your site after initial activation.

    Dear Richards,

many thanks for that tip. I have activated my key on wordpress.com
but my website is not integrated in wordpress.com.

I need to login to my wordpress admin dashboard with my own domain name.

    And the problem still persists.

I think all www.ads-software.com sites are integrated with wordpress.com

Have you tried going to the Jetpack settings, under Security you should see this:

`Add an extra layer of security to your website by enabling WordPress.com login and secure authentication. If you have multiple sites with this option enabled, you will be able to log in to every one of them with the same credentials.

Allow users to log in to this site using WordPress.com accounts

    Match accounts using email addresses
    Require accounts to use WordPress.com Two-Step Authentication`

At this wordpress.com page you should be able to register your key: https://wordpress.com/me/security/two-step

No, not all www.ads-software.com sites are integrated into wordpress.com. WordPress.com has it’s own security. Other web hosting companies also can bypass plug-in security.

If you install the www.ads-software.com software on you own server, the native www.ads-software.com security is used or whatever security plug-in is active

The 2factor plug-in still needs the new webauthentication api that Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge requires.

    I second this.

    Hi,

I only get this by using BRAVE as my browser, not with firefox, chrome etc.
