Website change of URL

  • My website was created from my company MPWA which is now defuncked and the domain mpwa.co.uk no longer exists. I need to update the website but cannot access it and need the ownership to be transfered to nicetechgroup.com.

    Please advise

  • You want back the ownership of mpwa.co.uk, which lost from you earlier. You meant this?. am I right.

    If so, this issue is nothing to do with WordPress. The recommendations to resolve the issue is following.

    1. Contact domain registrar and point out the issue you are facing. If anyway, definitely they can only help you.
    2. Try to connect with owner if domain is registered by any others. Try your level best to regain domain from them.

    No, I have control of https://www.nicetechgroup.com, my problem is that I cannot log into the WordPress account that was created by mpwa.co.uk which also created the web site.

    I need the account created by MPWA to be handed to nicetechgroup with a password so that I can modify my web site.

    There is no account like you’re talking about. WordPress is free software, not an account on some service somewhere.

    To migrate WordPress from one place to another, you have to have access to the original server that it was on, and get a copy of the WordPress files and database. If those files or database are no longer there, then it’s gone.
