• I went log in today to get other help with plug in, and got an error saying that .class-wp-request_hooks was not found. So I looked into it and everything from the Request folder was deleted. I re-uploaded the files to that folder, and now it’s gotten worse and I’m getting this error:

Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Widget_Custom_HTML’ not found in /home4/autorepair/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-widget-factory.php on line 100

If anyone could help me, I would be greatly happy! Thank you!

MANUALLY updating. Download WordPress again and unzip it. Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), and delete then replace your copies of everything on the server except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download. This will effectively replace all of your core files without damaging your content and settings. Please read the Manual Update directions first.

I manually updated WordPress, and it made it slightly better, as in I could see the wordpress login screen, but only a tiny bit as the rest was covered in random words. I’m hosting though HostGator, and I’ve had 3 different answered, the last way being that the server is down.
